In the segment of this High Conflict Diversion Program Tele-seminar Series for Parents with the founder and director of the High Conflict Diversion Program, Brook Olsen, you will learn about:

  • Creating a stable environment for you and your children

  • Understanding causes of the conflict

  • How to disengage from the fight

Brook will discuss ways for parents to settle and create a stable environment for their children in their home regardless of what is going on in the custody fight or in the other house. This is an important concept as it is critical for parents to understand that they can set strong boundaries and no longer have to react to the other parents continuing intrusions into your world because it focuses them on the future and not on the fight. Brook will be discussing what some of the causes of conflict in these highly charged custody battles. He will also discuss some of the misconceptions and beliefs that many parents have regarding what will and won’t work in dealing with their ex. Brook will also give some basic tools to help parents disengage from the fight and get back to living a normal life while still dealing with an erratic and chaotic ex.

Testimonial from a satisfied parent: “I want to let you know that I have been taking a wonderful court-approved class, the High Conflict Diversion Program, led by Brook Olsen. He teaches in Encinitas and Downtown. I highly recommend this program for anyone in a high conflict divorce involving child custody or courts, domestic violence, etc. Brook is an amazing instructor and he is very knowledgeable about the court system. Plus with his holistic training, he provides a very informative and calm setting to deal with tough issues. The class is both productive and healing for me. Please pass on this info to anyone you know who could benefit from this or works with individuals going through these same types of struggles. Many thanks, Samantha L.
